JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Our client is looking for a Sales Manager (AC) to drive growth in their air conditioning division focusing on securing both installation projects and longterm maintenance agreements. RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:
- Driving new business in air conditioning installation and service/maintenance contracts across London or the Midlands.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders including property managers facilities management companies developers contractors and endusers.
- Working with our operations and engineering teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Identifying market opportunities and developing a targeted sales approach to increase revenue and secure repeat business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities within the commercial industrial and residential air conditioning market.
- Generate leads and convert them into secured contracts for both new installations and ongoing service agreements.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Work closely with property management firms contractors and endusers to understand their cooling and maintenance needs.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships ensuring customer satisfaction and longterm partnerships.
- Conduct site visits and consultations to assess client needs and present tailored AC solutions.
- Negotiate pricing contract terms and service level agreements to maximize profitability while delivering customer value.
- Educate clients on the benefits of preventative maintenance contracts to ensure system longevity and efficiency.
Technical & Market Expertise
- Stay up to date with the latest air conditioning technologies energy efficiency trends and industry regulations.
- Work closely with the engineering and service teams to ensure smooth project and service delivery.
- Understand competitor offerings and position Airway Group s services as the preferred choice in the market.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Provide regular sales forecasts pipeline updates and performance reports to senior management.
- Work alongside marketing and operations teams to support targeted campaigns and customer engagement strategies.
- Use CRM tools and sales tracking software to manage leads opportunities and contracts efficiently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 5 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry specifically within air conditioning installation and service contract sales.
- Strong network and existing relationships with contractors facilities managers developers and endusers.
- Proven track record in selling AC systems securing maintenance agreements and exceeding revenue targets.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent consultative sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
- Strong technical understanding of air conditioning systems maintenance schedules and energy efficiency solutions.
- Selfmotivated driven and able to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Confident in managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and aftersales support.
- Familiarity with industry regulations FGas compliance and service contract structures.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience selling to FM companies property management firms hospitality and commercial office spaces.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency initiatives carbon reduction strategies and smart AC solutions.
