Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detailoriented UX Designer to join our dynamic design team. As a UX Designer you will be responsible for creating seamless userfriendly and aesthetically pleasing digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers engineers and other stakeholders to transform user needs into intuitive interfaces enhancing the overall user experience.
IFS is a highly collaborative organization. Youll form strong relationships with product managers and designers and can expect to partner regularly with engineers and leaders beyond your immediate team. Were after a skilled designer with handson user experience understanding genuine empathy for our end users and a passion for developing products with accessibility and usability at its core.
As a UX Designer you will
- Contribute to overall strategy ideas and decisionmaking about product
direction - Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities
- Work crossfunctionally with product management engineering design and research peers
- Build strong personal connections with your teammates and help shape IFSs culture
- Create collaborate and iterate on flows prototypes and highfidelity visuals
- Design and ship highquality product improvements
Qualifications :
Wed love to hear from you if you have:
- 5 years of experience crafting user experiences across content design or engineering disciplines
- Strong understanding of usercentered design principles methodologies and the ability to incorporate user feedback into design iterations
- An eye for highquality wellcrafted visual and interaction design with a passion for detail
- An understanding of design systems and design documentation
- Experience working independently exploring concepts from beginning to end
- Proven ability to design simple solutions to solve complex user problems
- Experience managing complex projects with crossfunctional teams and overlapping organizational lines
- Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping to communicate nuanced design decisions
- Solid understanding of core design principles information hierarchy layout spacing typography colour accessibility and usability
- Handson expertise with Figma and other common design tools with the ability to mentor and guide design teams
- Ability to create user flows and wireframes for new features
- Ability to implement user feedback into designs and product features
- Advocate for design thinking within the product team and the broader organisation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
While its not required its an added plus if you also have:
- Knowledge about using Jira and agile scrum processes
- Experience mentoring junior or early career designers
- Good understanding of frontend development and collaborating with engineering
- Experience designing for multiple screens/devices (responsive design) and ensuring crossbrowser compatibility
- Skilled in performing user testing (usability tests A/B tests analytics) and applying insights to design iterations
