Working Hours: 40 hours per week MondayFriday

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our Arb Rail team and help us grow while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Your Mission
Your role is critical to the success of our operations. You will drive yearonyear operating profit growth while ensuring outstanding delivery customer service and marketleading client retention. By fostering strong relationships and enhancing operational efficiency you will position Ground Control as the top choice in our sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Culture: Champion our Values safety culture and operational excellence. Act as a role model for outstanding customer service and a great place to work.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all projects and teams adhere to stringent safety standards. Promote a No job is so important or urgent that it cannot be done safely mindset.
- Operational Performance: Oversee operations teams ensuring alignment with company goals and driving highperformance results.
- Financial Growth & Compliance: Achieve and exceed budgeted operating profit improve gross margins and ensure sound financial management.
- Contract Management: Ensure profitable contract risk mitigation and full compliance with industry standards.
- Customer Excellence: Maintain strong client relationships ensuring satisfaction structured feedback and high retention rates.
- Team Development: Recruit develop and manage a highperforming team ensuring accountability and career growth.
- Process Improvement: Drive digitalisation compliance and efficiency in operations while implementing lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Sustainability & Social Value: Lead sustainability initiatives reduce environmental impact and foster diversity and ethical practices across the supply chain.
What were looking for:
- Proven experience in a senior operations management role within the rail or infrastructure sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire coach and develop teams.
- A deep understanding of operational excellence financial performance and customer relationship management.
- A commitment to health safety and environmental sustainability.
- Ability to drive process improvements implement change management strategies and enhance efficiency.
- Strong negotiation contract management and stakeholder engagement skills.
