- Perform preventive maintenance general maintenance and periodic maintenance on vehicles.
- Diagnose reported anomalies and determine their causes.
- Carry out minor and major vehicle repairs including:
- Engines
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Braking and steering systems
- Electrical and electronic circuits and networks as well as transmission components
- Complete work orders and inspection sheets by recording completed tasks.
- Ensure proper use and functionality of company equipment.
- Inform the immediate supervisor of any unplanned required actions detected issues or time overruns.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work safely and comply with company health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
- Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications :
- Solid experience in maintenance repair and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors grinders shredders vibrating tables hydraulic systems and presses.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical anomalies breakdowns and failures as well as repair or replace defective parts components or systems.
- Proficiency in testing equipment to ensure performance meets standards after repairs or replacements.
- Ability to collaborate on problemsolving to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.
- Knowledge of safety protocols including workplace cleanliness compliance with health and safety (OHS) regulations and performing tasks safely.
