Onboarding Specialist
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detailoriented Onboarding Specialist to join our innovative platform. This role is essential in supporting their mission to connect consumers directly with licensed professionals in the life insurance and retirement sectors. As an Onboarding Specialist you will play a key role in training and integrating independent agents into their community.
Location: Remote
Timezone: U.S. Eastern Time (Graveyard Shift)
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new independent agents ensuring they understand the systems tools and resources available to them.
- Conduct training sessions on phone sales techniques product knowledge and compliance regulations relevant to life insurance and retirement planning.
- Provide continuous support and mentorship to agents throughout their initial sales process helping them to navigate challenges and optimizing their performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and improve training materials and onboarding procedures to enhance agent experience.
- Maintain ongoing communication with new agents to ensure their integration into the company culture and adherence to best practices.
- Assist with technology setup and troubleshoot any issues agents may encounter with the platform and tools provided.
- Gather feedback from new agents to refine the onboarding process continually.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of life insurance products and the retirement planning process.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with new agents.
- Ability to deliver engaging training sessions and presentations.
- Highly organized with a focus on detail and the ability to manage multiple onboarding processes concurrently.
- Proficient in technology including CRM systems and online communication tools.
- Proficiency in Slack Google Suite Excel etc. is essential.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in onboarding or training roles particularly within the insurance or financial sectors.
- Previous experience in customer success manager roles for US facing clients is a plus.
- Experience in sales particularly phone sales is advantageous.
- Familiarity with remote or virtual training environments.
- Track record of achieving performance goals in fastpaced environments.
