Job Description
Our client is a leading construction and contracting company in Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the construction industry expertise in Microsoft ERP software and excellent proficiency in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements reports and records in compliance with accounting principles.
- Manage accounts payable receivables and general ledger activities.
- Ensure accurate project cost tracking and financial reporting.
- Assist in budget preparation financial forecasting and cash flow management.
- Maintain compliance with Saudi tax regulations (VAT Zakat WHT etc..
- Reconcile bank statements invoices and financial transactions.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in accounting specifically within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft ERP software (e.g. Dynamics SAP or similar).
- Proficiency in financial reporting cost control and project accounting.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi financial regulations and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
