Job Description

Software Test Analyst

A dynamic and innovative technology company is looking for a Software Test Analyst to join their team. The role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through automated and manual testing identifying bugs and ensuring software is fit for deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan create and maintain test cases (manual and automated).
  • Conduct daily testing of completed development items and core functionality.
  • Identify and report software bugs and usability issues.
  • Develop and execute test scripts to ensure highquality software releases.
  • Provide clear feedback and documentation on test results.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to validate requirements.
  • Maintain accurate test reports release notes and system change logs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a software testing role.
  • Experience with desktop API and web testing.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g. Postman).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL web services (IIS) and SSRS.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and software development processes.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
Qualifications:
  • Matric (essential); a relevant IT qualification is advantageous.
Job Specifics:
  • Onsite for first 3 months thereafter hybrid.
