Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance and Monitoring:
- Administer and maintain the organization s server environments both onpremises and in the cloud.
- Monitor system performance ensuring uptime and optimal system performance.
- Implement system updates patches and upgrades regularly to ensure security and functionality.
- Perform routine backups and system restores ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Network and Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee and manage the organization s network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and VPNs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
- Ensure that network security measures are properly implemented and maintained to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Manage and configure network protocols VLANs and IP address assignments.
- User and Access Management:
- Administer user accounts permissions and access control in accordance with company policies and security best practices.
- Provide technical support to users regarding IT systems software and hardware issues.
- Set up and maintain email servers file servers and other critical systems for staff use.
- Troubleshoot user issues related to operating systems applications and network access.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security policies to safeguard critical systems and data.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. FAA HIPAA etc.).
- Regularly audit systems for vulnerabilities and perform security assessments.
- Set up and manage security tools including firewalls intrusion detection systems and antivirus software.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents ensuring prompt remediation.
- Disaster Recovery and Backup:
- Implement and manage disaster recovery procedures and policies to ensure business continuity.
- Regularly test backup and restore procedures to ensure data integrity and quick recovery.
- Document disaster recovery plans business continuity strategies and system configurations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records of system configurations network designs troubleshooting logs and incident reports.
- Create and update user guides system documentation and operating procedures.
- Provide regular reports to management on system health performance and any ongoing issues or improvements.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with other IT teams engineering staff and endusers to ensure that systems are optimized for business and operational needs.
- Support special projects related to IT infrastructure upgrades new system deployments or other technology initiatives.
- Participate in crossfunctional teams to implement new IT solutions or resolve systemrelated issues.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator Network Administrator or in a similar role preferably within the aviation or highly regulated industries.
- Indepth knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments including installation configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with networking concepts including TCP/IP DNS DHCP routing and VPNs.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices including firewalls encryption and user authentication.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV) and cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Bash Python) for automation and system management.
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear technical support to nontechnical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of project management experience, preferably in the aviation industry. Knowledge of aviation regulations, industry best practices, and project lifecycle management. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, or similar). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
