TPF Recruitment Kent s leading recruitment agency is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a Top 15 Chartered Accountancy Practice in Maidstone. We are seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their growing team. Idelaly you would be an Audit & Accounts Senior looking to move away form audit into a purely accounts focused position.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with a strong background in financial reporting statutory accounts and consolidations to take the next step in their career within a highly respected and forwardthinking firm.
- Prepare statutory accounts financial reports consolidations and disclosures in compliance with IFRS UK GAAP (FRS 102) and the Charities SORP.
- Support the audit team by addressing client queries related to financial statements.
- Assist in the finalisation of statutory financial statements as part of the audit process.
- Serve as a primary client contact identifying and addressing key areas of judgment in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Stay informed on regulatory updates ensuring compliance with industry standards and CPD requirements.
- Provide expert financial reporting guidance and ad hoc support to clients.
- Oversee and mentor the financial reporting team fostering professional growth and development.
- Deliver highquality work within strict deadlines ensuring adherence to professional and firmwide standards.
- Contribute to the firms culture of continuous improvement driving efficiencies and best practices.
Requirements
Financial Reporting Accountant Maidstone
- ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified with strong technical expertise.
- Experience in preparing statutory financial statements and consolidations.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP IFRS and Charities SORP.
- Excellent analytical skills attention to detail and problemsolving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to client service.
