The Role

As a Year 5 Teacher you will:

• Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons tailored to Year 5 students.
• Create a positive classroom environment where children feel safe inspired and eager to learn.
• Assess and track progress providing constructive feedback to support student development.
• Encourage independence and critical thinking preparing students for the next stage in their learning journey.
• Work closely with colleagues to share ideas best practices and contribute to the wider school community.

• Engage in professional development with excellent mentoring for ECTs and career progression for experienced teachers.

What Were Looking For

• A Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Passion for teaching in Year 5 and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
• A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students staff and parents.
• A proactive adaptable and enthusiastic approach to classroom teaching.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
