We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher for a dynamic primary school in Lambeth starting after the February half term 2025. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of Year 5 students and align with the National Curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress offering constructive feedback and setting clear learning targets.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures a love for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum and share best practices.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and carers providing updates on pupil progress and addressing any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings professional development and other school activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 preferably Year 5.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A passionate and creative teacher committed to helping pupils achieve their best.
- A team player with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
