Canus Tech is seeking a SharePoint Analyst to provide technical support troubleshooting and maintenance for a government clients SharePoint environments including SharePoint 2016 OnPremise and SharePoint Online. This role involves collaborating with endusers IT teams and stakeholders to ensure platform stability and efficiency. The analyst will also analyze and recommend process improvements while assessing risks dependencies and business impacts.
The SharePoint Analyst will actively participate in the M365 and SharePoint Online Migration Project including planning designing testing migration and implementation to enhance SharePoint Online and related technologies.
Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for Microsoft SharePoint environments including SharePoint 2016 OnPremise and SharePoint Online.
- Perform business analysis and solution design to support SharePointbased initiatives.
- Offer first and secondlevel technical support for SharePointrelated issues troubleshooting errors and performance concerns.
- Investigate and resolve SharePoint site and application issues identifying root causes and implementing timely solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance including software updates patch installations and system configurations to ensure system stability and security.
- Monitor SharePoint servers services and workflows to proactively detect and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements design solutions and implement enhancements for SharePoint sites and applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation user guides and training materials for IT teams and endusers.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance (QA) activities to validate SharePoint functionalities and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends best practices and emerging SharePoint technologies to improve platform efficiency.
- Deliver business requirements and complex design solutions using outofthebox SharePoint components and thirdparty tools (e.g. Nintex) where appropriate.
- Provide expertise in the design of new processes supporting Microsoft SharePoint and related systems.
- Guide business users on effective SharePoint utilization for Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
- Validate data used in migration efforts to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Resolve operational issues and provide continuous support for SharePoint environments.
- Develop and implement SharePoint technical solutions both independently and as part of a team.
- Prepare and submit routine reports correlating hours worked with operational tasks.
- Work directly with technical staff and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with IT policies standards and best practices.
Qualifications: Must Have: - Bachelors degree in IT Business or equivalent experience
- 8 years of experience translating business requirements into detailed SharePoint solutions.
- 8 years of experience in business process redesign transformation and facilitation.
- 5 years of experience in Change Management and business change support.
- 5 years of experience in project coordination vendor management and stakeholder communication.
- 8 years of experience with written and verbal communication including documentation and reporting.
Nice to Have: - 5 years of experience facilitating meetings and communicating with senior management and executives.
- 5 years of experience in design development and implementation of complex IT solutions.
- 4 years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for large complex projects.
- 4 years of experience working in or for the public sector.
