Job Description
A wellestablished company with over 50 years of experience in the industry is looking to expand its service team. This company supplies and services commercial laundry equipment across various sectors including private landlords major hotels health & beauty equestrian facilities and premier football clubs. They provide a complete solution including equipment supply installation service and maintenance packages. Additionally they offer specialist solutions such as chemical autodosing systems ozone laundry technology and support for commercial catering equipment.
The RoleBased at an industrial premises in NW London the Field Service Technician will be an integral part of the service team. This is a frontline role representing the company and ensuring the highest standards of service for a broad customer base. Responsibilities include attending field service calls diagnosing and repairing faults and preparing equipment for installation. The role primarily covers London and the Southeast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending service calls to diagnose repair and report faults on commercial laundry equipment ware washing systems and autodosing units.
- Inspecting and reporting on machine and installation conditions providing recommendations.
- Commissioning new equipment installations.
- Carrying out basic installations of laundry equipment dosing systems and ozone technology.
- Preparing and testing exrental equipment before redeployment.
- Performing routine maintenance checks where required.
- Managing van stock and keeping the inventory updated in Salesforce.
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Mechanical and electrical experience (Gas Safe certification preferred but not essential).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Strong problemsolving and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Professional personable and customerfocused.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable working under pressure.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence (clean).
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Applicants with commercial laundry equipment experience as well as electrical or gas certifications will be at an advantage. The company is open to considering candidates who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience required for the role. The range is between 37000 to 42000 per annum and we would consider offering sponsorship to the ideal candidate if needed.
