Your Responsibilities
As our new Year 1 Teacher you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that support the transition from EYFS to Key Stage 1.
- Create a warm and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged to participate.
- Develop early reading writing and numeracy skills through effective and creative teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress providing targeted support to help every child thrive.
- Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers to foster a supportive learning community.
- Collaborate with the KS1 team to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
What Were Looking For
- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 particularly in a Year 1 setting.
- A strong understanding of early childhood development and phonics teaching.
- A creative and engaging teaching style that excites and motivates young learners.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to collaboration.
- A dedication to creating an inclusive and highachieving learning environment.
