Job Description
Responsibilities
- Providing legal counsel and guidance to various departments within the organisation.
- Drafting reviewing and negotiating a wide range of legal documents including contracts agreements and policies.
- Conducting legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations.
- Identifying and mitigating potential legal risks to the organisation.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Managing legal disputes and litigation if necessary.
- Collaborating with external legal counsel as required.
- Staying uptodate on legal developments and best practices.
- Providing training and education to employees on legal matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised university.
- Qualified to practise law in Saudi Arabia (or eligible for licensure).
- Significant postqualification experience in a corporate legal environment.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian law particularly in areas relevant to the companys operations.
- Excellent legal drafting research and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Strong problemsolving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of professional ethics and integrity.
