We are looking for an experienced Associate Director Inventory Technology to lead the transformation of forecasting replenishment and inventory management across a largescale retail and supply chain environment.
In this role you will develop and execute a technology roadmap for inventory optimization work with crossfunctional teams to drive innovation in autoreplenishment demand planning and realtime inventory visibility leveraging various technology platforms.
This is a highimpact leadership role that requires deep expertise in supply chain technology store operations and advanced inventory management solutions.
The Challenges
Strategic Leadership & Innovation
- Define and execute a technologydriven strategy for inventory optimization forecasting and replenishment.
- Drive the adoption of AI and machine learningbased forecasting models to enhance demand planning accuracy.
- Lead teams in the implementation and continuous improvement of cuttingedge inventory management solutions.
Technology Implementation & Optimization
- Oversee the selection integration and scaling of forecasting and replenishment platforms including Relex Blue Yonder and SAP.
Ensure seamless connectivity between inventory systems WMS POS and ERP solutions to drive efficiency. - Identify opportunities for automation analytics and process improvements to enhance supply chain performance.
CrossFunctional Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with supply chain store operations category management and IT teams to align technology solutions with business needs.
- Serve as the key liaison between technical and business teams ensuring smooth execution and alignment of priorities.
- Resolve dependencies manage risks and ensure the timely delivery of critical supply chain initiatives.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory optimization replenishment efficiency and system performance.
- Utilize datadriven insights to refine forecasting models and replenishment processes.
- Provide strategic recommendations on process enhancements and new technology adoption.
What It Takes
- 10 years of experience in supply chain technology retail inventory management or demand planning.
- Expertise in inventory optimization platforms like Blue Yonder Relex or SAP.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with experience in managing crossfunctional teams.
- Proven ability to drive digital transformation and process optimization in retail supply chain environments.
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value working closely with both IT and operational teams.
