Job Description
A growing electronics manufacturing company in southwest Houston is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead our production team in our stateoftheart electronics assembly facility. As Manufacturing Manager you will oversee all aspects of production from planning to process implementation.
Standard working hours: Monday Friday 7:30 am 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies plans and schedules to meet production goals
- Lead and manage production supervisors and assembly teams
- Ensure optimal workflow and utilization of machinery equipment and resources
- Collaborate with engineering on new product introductions and process improvements
- Monitor key performance indicators for quality cost delivery and safety
- Identify opportunities for increased efficiency capability and scalability
- Maintain a clean safe and productive work environment
- Manage capital projects for new equipment and facility upgrades
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field or equivalent related work experience
- 5 years of experience managing electronics assembly production
- Strong familiarity with IPC 610 and 620 manufacturing standards
- Strong leadership communication analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes
- Experience working with ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100D quality management standards
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing data analysis
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced highmix production environment
- Passion for innovating manufacturing technologies and processes
