Role Overview
The Project Engineer (HV Cables) is a critical role in supporting the delivery of civil engineering aspects of multidisciplinary construction and renewable energy projects. Reporting directly to the Design Manager this role ensures the planning design and execution of civil engineering works meet the highest standards of safety quality and efficiency.
The successful candidate will collaborate with design teams contractors and project stakeholders to deliver civil engineering solutions that align with project specifications budgets and timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the Project Engineer you will carry out the following:
Technical Leadership
Project Planning &Coordination
Site Supervision and Quality Control
Documentation and Reporting
Stakeholder Engagement
Value Engineering and Innovation
Skills Educationand Experience
Education:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional accreditation (e.g. ICE membership CEng status) is highly desirable.
Experience:
Proven experience in civil engineering roles within the construction or renewable energy sectors specifically HV Cabling projects.
Strong track record of delivering civil engineering works on time within budget and to the required quality standards.
Experience with site supervision and managing contractors is preferred.
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles standards and regulations.
Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills.
Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D) and project management tools.
Analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
