POSITION OVERVIEW
A wellestablished nutrition company is seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Inventory Clerk to support various warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management maintaining accurate stock records and assisting in the seamless flow of goods across multiple warehouse locations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment while adhering to company procedures and safety standards. The successful candidate will contribute to improved operational efficiency enhanced inventory accuracy and optimized warehouse performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform any function that may be reasonably required from time to time.
Ensure that the warehouse area is kept neat and tidy at all times.
Alternate between warehouses as required.
Log into the telephone system on a daily basis.
Recommend improved procedures.
Assist with the repacking of goods within the warehouse.
Responsible for receiving picking packing checking and dispatching of goods according to the Standard Operations Procedures.
Ensure correct shipping of all goods for local and export shipments.
Repack pallets to meet shipment requirements.
Offload/load containers and trucks arriving at or leaving the warehouse.
Assist in the monthly stocktaking cycle counts when required.
Ensure that the entire warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Demonstrate literacy skills including the ability to read and write English.
Work effectively towards deadlines and under pressure.
Comply with all company rules and regulations.
Maintain neatness in all aspects of work.
Assist in the warehouse with monthly and daily cycle counts.
Control all warehouserelated activities.
Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO method).
Support company functions including sales team meetings conventions and training events.
Work flexible hours to align with business operating hours and attend certain events including weekends if required.
Maintain good housekeeping practices daily.
Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety (OHASA) rules and regulations.
Ensure proper maintenance of all warehouse equipment.

Valid license for operating Counterbalance Forklift Turret Forklift (manup) and Pallet Jack.
Ability to work at heights of 12 meters and above.
Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
