Position: Global Category Buyer Bioprocess Raw Materials

Our client is dedicated to improving the quality and efficiency of bioprocessing and we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Global Category Buyer to join our clients highperforming team.
Job Overview:
As the Global Category Buyer for Bioprocess Raw Materials you will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials used in bioprocessing across all of our clients global operations. You will work closely with our clients suppliers to negotiate contracts ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain a consistent supply chain for production facilities. This is a highlevel strategic role that requires strong analytical skills excellent negotiation abilities and a deep understanding of the bioprocessing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement global procurement strategies for bioprocess raw materials in line with company goals and objectives.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key suppliers.
Monitor market trends and developments in the bioprocessing industry to ensure the company is staying competitive.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including R&D operations and quality assurance to ensure timely delivery of materials for production.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
Conduct regular analysis of supplier performance identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Identify costsaving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes.
Stay uptodate with industry regulations and compliance requirements related to bioprocess raw materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business supply chain management or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement preferably in the biotech or bioprocessing industry.
Strong understanding of bioprocessing and the raw materials used in the production process.
Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
Willingness to travel as needed.
