Capital Markets Attorney
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a globally renowned law firm with over 500 attorneys and 1000 employees. We are assisting them in their search for aCorporate Associateto join their Capital Markets and Public Companiesgroup.You will advise public companies and investment banks on a broad range of matters.You willprovide legal services to technology and life sciences companies at all stages of developmentfrom early startups to publicly traded corporations.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 3 years of experience advising public companies or investment banks on SEC compliance disclosure governance and exchange matters.
- Experience in capital market transactions including IPOs SPACs direct listings and followon offerings.
- Previous experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions including IPOs SPACs direct listings and followon offerings.
- Ability to provide counsel on corporate governance matters securities laws and public company disclosure obligations.
- Collaborating with colleagues in technology and life sciences practices to support clients in these dynamic sectors.
- Experience with or affinity for technology and/or life sciences companies is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Top law school credentials with excellent academic performance.
- Active NY BAR membership or eligibility to waive in.
- Detailoriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong oral written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented fastpaced environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Salary: $250000 $370000
