Following our partnership with the Isle of Wight NHS Trust we have a vacancy for you to join our team as a Procurement Specialist working closely with a range of expert staff across the organisation and beyond you will play a significant role in the continued development of a highquality service. Having previous Public Sector experience would be highly beneficial to this role.
This is a fast moving and important department to work in supporting the organisation. You will apply the 5 Ps (Power People Processes Planning and Prevention) to meet different challenges every day. You will be an integral part of the team providing a firstclass procurement service.
We recognise that every product and service we procure on behalf of the two Trusts will affect each patient we are committed to providing best value services goods supplies and works across the nonclinical category.
There will be a requirement for you to be mobile and attend meetings at client sites. Occasional travel across the geographical area will be expected. Our NHS Procurement Team is based in a brand new facility at Lakeside North Harbour close to Queen Alexandra Hospital on Portsmouth (Junction 12 of M27).
You will be expected to work on site at Lakeside for minimum 3 days a week.
