Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (RDBMS) to join our team and help build out the next generation of our AWS Cloud based Dealer Management System platform.
Responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle software development including design work coding testing devops deployments troubleshooting and support.
- Iterative modernization efforts to produce secure extensible and scalable solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing products.
- Mentor junior team members and perform peer code reviews.
- 8090% hands on coding.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and management.
- Drive product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze defects to determine root cause and provide durable maintainable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and performance related issues.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of extensive handson development experience using the .NET stack (C#.NET Core .NETFramework).
- Experience developing SOAP/XML web services and RESTful APIs.
- Object Oriented Programming and Design awareness.
- Experience in Agile practices.
- Handson development experience with a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) such as SQL Server PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Ability to write unit tests and develop testable code with each iteration.
- Strong organizational analytical problemsolving skills.
- Passion for solving business challenges and design problems to meet client needs.
