As a Senior Backend Engineer youll be reviewing requirements specifications and technical design documents. Youll manage programming task schedule updates and coordinate with multiple teams. Bug fixes and maintenance of the existing systems which are deployed on Cloud server providers. Identify analyse and correct common issues in a multithreaded game engine such as load times memory usage and CPU/GPU performance. Deliver high quality robust secure and maintainable code
In this role a typical day may involve discussing functional requirements directly with various domain stakeholders and implementing APIs to communicate these requirements building dashboards to monitor the health of a server and writing automated tests that validate a weight and balance calculation.
Youll have:
- Proven experience in developing deploying debugging and testing backend cloud applications
- Good technical skills and demonstrable knowledge of at least one backend programming language Kotlin / Java.
- Confidence in balancing both technical and communication skills with the ability to adjust to your audience.
- Attention to detail and a qualityfocused mindset.
- Be comfortable learning and adapting to cross functional requirements from various domains
