JOB TITLE: Senior Rapid Response Mechanic
LOCATION: Wichita KS
PAY RATE: $57/hr $110 per diem for those living 100 miles away

Summary:
Assemble major structures including fuselage panels bulkheads and subassemblies.
Perform rework and major structural repairs outside standard shop environments.
Remove and replace skins and MRB parts per engineering requirements.
Convert detail skins/structures to engineering configurations through match drilling.
Troubleshoot and correct structural discrepancies to ensure compliance.
Assemble install seal rig and inspect structural components.
Conduct functional tests and ensure fit form and function of assemblies.
Read and interpret blueprints sketches and work instructions.
Use precision measuring tools and test instruments.
Utilize tooling for subassembly and final assembly.
Verify work quality and report discrepancies.
Maintain equipment certifications and perform minor maintenance.
Move products within the manufacturing area and complete transactions.
Train and assist other employees in assembly and inspection techniques.
Crosstrain in inspection and become SIA qualified.
Required Skills:
10 years of heavy structures and skin change experience.
Ability to work highvolume MRB tags during inspections.
Must pass blueprint and plate testing.
Ability to start immediately.
Sturdy fullcover lowheeled shoes required for safety.
No dresses skirts or jewelry in shop areas.
Safety Gear: Steeltoed shoes/boots required.
