Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the IT Director of Data Products and Analytics the Data Analytics Manager will lead the development of high priority data analytics projects that ultimately improve s ability to produce positive patient outcomes.
- This role will have high visibility from business and IT leadership and will have a direct impact on s strategic initiative to build out a modern data lake platform.
- This role is part of a rapidly growing team: the successful candidate will have opportunities for expanding responsibility and shaping the future vision of how data and AI are used at AZ.
- The ideal candidate has a blend of data analytics technical expertise leadership ability and relevant subject matter knowledge.
- The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a dynamic fastpaced environment and highly motivated to grow in responsibility as the team grows including opportunities for direct people management.
- Convert business requirements and problem statements into actionable code delivering ETL/ ELT data transformation using notebookbased development using PySpark.
- Technical expertise in both Power BI and cloud Data Lake / Lakehouse technology (Microsoft Fabric is preferred but Databricks or equivalent will be considered).
- Coding proficiency in PySpark and experience with Git based version control and CI/CD.
Qualifications:
- Accountable for endtoend delivery of data analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric Power BI.
