One of our clients is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to lead data mapping ETL development and data integration efforts as part of a legacytomodern system migration project. The selected candidate will work with business partners to ensure smooth data mapping migration and transformation while managing Azure Data Factory Pipelines and SQL Server ETL processes.
This position is ideal for a detailoriented professional who thrives in managing largescale data mapping projects ensuring data accuracy and developing robust ETL solutions.
Local Richmond VA candidates are required and onsite interviews are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business partners to define and implement data mappings from a legacy system to a new system.
- Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory Pipelines and SQL Server stored procedures or SSIS packages for data transformation and migration.
- Conduct data profiling and validation to ensure data integrity during the migration process.
- Manage and maintain source code in a GIT repository using Azure DevOps.
- Estimate level of effort and manage deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Support onpremises and cloudbased data integration efforts as needed.
- Maintain HIPAA and PII compliance by successfully completing required training.
- Ensure CJIS background check compliance and adherence to security protocols.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with Azure Data Factory Pipelines or SSIS packages for SQL Server environments.
- 2 years of experience managing source code in a GIT repository using Azure DevOps.
- 3 years of experience estimating level of effort and managing deadlines in data migration projects.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with business partners and technical teams.
- Selfmotivated independent and flexible work ethic to accommodate changing project needs.
- Highspeed internet connection required for remote work when applicable.
- Must pass CJIS background checks and successfully complete HIPAA and PII training.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have Not Required)
- 3 years of experience with data profiling and comparison using Toad Datapoint.
