Job Description
AECOM is seeking Construction Program Management Manager to be based in Boston MA
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee program related activities for smaller programs or a defined part of a larger program in support of the overall Program Manager.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery at the program level or for elements of a program.
- Advocate for ethical and safe working practices.
- Supports innovation in program management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation.
- Identify areas of high risk and proactively takes actions to positively impact program outcomes.
- Contribute to the global learning and people development strategy for program management including identification of talent gaps and resourcing plans.
- Assess longterm and disruptive trends in their area of expertise.
- Proposes skill development approaches and workforce planning to deliver capabilities for the future.
- Actively supports the attraction and retention of talent across area of expertise.
- Accountable for overall financial success and delivery of AECOM Program Management agreement.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Requirements:
- 15 years of experience in project management with a strong focus on the education sector (MSBA funded schools universities) and/or large scale publicly funded projects in Massachusetts.
- Proven experience as a sellerdoer with the ability to generate business and deliver projects successfully.
- Deep knowledge of project management methodologies tools and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera) and other relevant tools.
