Description:
A leading hotel group is recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our hospitality team in one of their 5star hotels. This role is integral to the dining operations where the successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Team to deliver exceptional service and memorable dining experiences for guests oversee daily restaurant operations manage staff performance and ensure topquality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor frontofhouse staff promoting a culture of excellence.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and service standards.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to implement and maintain restaurant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Manage inventory levels and optimize workflow for peak efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining restaurant revenue profitability and quality goals.
- Ensure all operational manuals SOPs and logs are kept current and implemented.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Ability to maintain high standards of service under pressure.
- Familiarity with restaurant and hospitality software systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (essential).
- Professionallevel proficiency in English (speaking reading writing understanding).
- Computer literacy with a minimum of level 2 experience in Microsoft Office.
- Accommodation Certificate or Hotel School diploma (advantageous).
- Previous experience in a similar role within a 4/5star hotel.
- Familiarity with all duties and procedures in a restaurant environment.
- Opera experience (advantageous).
