Job Description
Global Reach Staffing Solutions Group are recruiting for a dependable Class 2 Delivery Driver who insists on customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe timely manner. You will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You will be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete packed correctly and safely delivered to the correct client.
To succeed as a Class 2 Delivery Driver we expect you to be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You will be working all over the UK so nights out are required You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled committed to work safety and passionate about satisfying clients.
Class 2 Driver Responsibilities
- Experience may be required or preferred.
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes schedules safety procedures and transportation laws.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to walk drive and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
- Attention to detail.
- Valid Class 2 drivers license with fully uptodate CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Clean driving record preferred but no more than 6 points.
RequirementsClass 2 Driver Requirements
- Load transport and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete the charges are correct and the customer is satisfied.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Accept payments for delivered items.
- Provide excellent customer service answering questions and handling complaints from clients.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
- Operate equipment and machines such as cars trucks forklifts etc.
- Experience may be required or preferred.

- Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles
