Job Description
Position:Sr. Project Manager (Civil P.E.)
Location:Houston Texas United States
Industry: Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Civil Engineers EITs designers and CAD draftsmen providing technical guidance QA/QC oversight and design feedback.
- Oversee daily operations deliverables and project schedules for various land development projects (residential industrial commercial etc.).
- Utilize advanced engineering principles and practices to develop innovative and costeffective solutions.
- Plan coordinate and direct large and complex engineering projects managing scope budget and timelines.
- Oversee industrial development projects (primarily 5 to 50 acres with occasional projects exceeding 100 acres).
- Define project scope including budget design criteria and schedule.
- Contribute to proposal development and client management activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and codes.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams clients and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in land/site development engineering (public and private).
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proven experience managing teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong understanding of land development processes regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience with projects ranging from 5 to 100 acres.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience in residential commercial and/or industrial project development.
