Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Automation & Script Development: Design develop and maintain automation scripts for Oracle environments ensuring proper debugging error handling and scheduling.
• Multicloud Strategy: Implement and optimize Oracle workloads on multicloud environments including Oracle OCI Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
• Configuration Management: Manage Oracle configuration including environment variables ensuring smooth database and application operations across platforms.
• Oracle Database Tuning: Perform ongoing tuning and optimization of Oracle databases and applications.
• Database Deployment: Deploy and manage Oracle workloads in cloud environments addressing challenges related to scaling security and performance.
• Patch Management: Regularly apply Oracle CPU PSU patches and perform patching on Exadata RAC and Oracle DB.
• Integration with WebLogic: Integrate Oracle databases and applications with thirdparty systems using Oracle WebLogic Server.
• Database & Application Cloning: Automate and manage cloning of Oracle databases and applications to enhance development and production processes.
• Upgrades & Migration: Oversee Oracle Applications upgrade to R12.2.10 and beyond ensuring seamless migration to cloud environments like Azure.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): Manage both Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for Oracle Applications and NonOracle Applications within cloud environments.
• Advanced Oracle Features: Utilize advanced features such as Active Data Guard Oracle GoldenGate Oracle GRID and RMAN for optimal database management.
• Fusion Middleware Management: Administer and develop solutions using Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) ensuring high availability and performance.
• Security & Identity Management: Implement and maintain robust security and identity management practices using Oracle FMW.
• Scripting & Tools: Use Unix shell scripting and other scripting tools/utilities for automation and version control of Oracle environments.
• Version Control & Script Management: Maintain version control and manage scripts for consistent application deployment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Extensive experience with Oracle databases (specifically Oracle 19c and previous versions) and Oracle Applications.
• Handson experience deploying and managing workloads in multicloud environments (including Microsoft Azure Amazon AWS and Oracle OCI).
• Proficiency in Oracle WebLogic Server Oracle Fusion Middleware and integration with thirdparty applications.
• Strong scripting skills with Unix shell scripting or similar scripting tools for automation.
• Familiarity with Oracle GoldenGate RMAN Oracle Data Guard and Exadata.
• Experience with Oracle CPU and PSU patches and handling upgrades (particularly Oracle Database 19c and beyond).
• Familiarity with JIRA ServiceNow and Solix for task management and configuration snapshots.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across cloud environments.
