Job Description
Sia Partners is looking for Contractors to support our Financial Services practice serving our clients as AML/KYC Consultants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of KYC requirements for corporate financial institution (FI) and fund clients with prior experience in securities services. Familiarity with fundrelated KYC requirements is a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct KYC quality assurance (QA) reviews for corporate FI and fund clients to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Perform KYC remediation activities in response to QA findings.
- Prepare KYC document collection checklists and coordinate with Relationship Managers (RMs) and clients to gather required data and documents.
- Execute client identification and verification processes.
- Conduct screening and escalate potential hits for further review.
- Update and maintain KYC data in internal systems with accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform foureye control checks on remediated files to ensure quality and compliance.
- Carry out quality assurance reviews of completed KYC profiles to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Escalate exceptions and highrisk issues to Compliance for further assessment.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to QA and remediation timelines providing support for management reporting and related preparations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration or a related discipline
- 35 years of work experience in experience in KYC reviews quality assurance and remediation processes.
- Familiarity with KYC requirements for various fund structures (e.g. Legal Entity/NonLegal Entity (LE/NLE) MasterFeeder Funds Variable Capital Companies (VCC) etc.) is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Preferable to have Chinese capability
- Immediately available
