Job Description
Position: Business Analyst
Location: Atlanta GA (Onsite from Day 1)
Job Description:
This role offers an excellent opportunity to join an IT team leading the digital transformation and API platform development for our clients online systems. The Business Analyst will support and facilitate business change through effective requirement elicitation analysis and documentation.
Experience Required:
- Bachelors Degree.
- Experience developing requirements and test scenarios for automated test suites for APIs.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Agile or other rapid application development methods.
- Ability to apply technical expertise to meet business needs effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with management staff customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and deliver exceptional results.
- Previous experience in API practice/program at a large organization.
- Strong experience in discovery identification and documentation of APIs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple IT and business teams.
- Engage directly with delivery teams on a daily basis to drive project execution.
- Ensure product acceptance and readiness at critical phases of the delivery cycle.
- Develop communication materials and lead efforts around product communication priorities and future roadmaps.
- Lead design sessions with the product team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in airline ticketing projects and business analysis preferred.
- Strong ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively.
- Must manage work across multiple project teams to meet deployment needs and support diverse clients.
Responsibilities:
- Gather develop coordinate and maintain business requirements for projects from initial phase to final implementation ensuring compliance with standards.
- Troubleshoot coordinate and maintain production systems programs and applications.
- Assist in project status reporting and tracking.
- Provide efficient project processes and deliverables to streamline project life cycles.
- Collaborate with application support and development teams to resolve software bugs and escalated issues.
- Lead resolution of issues between interfacing systems utilizing different technologies.
- Facilitate and participate in regular project status reviews.
- Translate highlevel User Requirements into detailed executable User Stories for development.
- Create and manage the product backlog.
- Conduct planning sessions with teams to prioritize work for upcoming sprints.
- Champion diversity of thought and embrace diverse people and styles.
- Prioritize safety and security as a consistent priority.
