Job Description
Please Note:
- This is a 100% Remote position.
- Hours: This position will allow 40 Hours per week. Please do not assume that overtime will be allowed.
- Normal business hours MondayFriday 40 hours/week (not including mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours of work). Monday Friday: 9:00 AM5:30/6:00 PM EST (assuming 30/60 minutes unpaid meal break)
- Duration: 12 Months
Tasks:
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of complex applications ensuring adherence to project timelines budgets and quality standards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering product management and other stakeholders to define project scope requirements and deliverables.
- Develop project plans including work breakdown structures dependencies and overall work plans for project delivery in collaboration with business technical and project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Program Management to identify cross program interdependencies impacting the project.
- Identify and manage risks dependencies and blockers that may impact project success and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain a Risk Action Issue and Decision (RAID) log and ensure the project team and external owners for items are progressing through their action items.
- Manage open items to closure.
- Drive effective communication and collaboration among team members stakeholders and senior leadership providing regular project updates and status reports including presentations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement implementing best practices processes and tools to optimize project management and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and security requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Mandatory Skills/Experience:
- A bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in computer science engineering product management/design or related field
- A minimum 8 years of experience in software development
- At least 8 years of experience in either a Project or Program Management role or a combination of the roles.
- At least 4 years of experience leading projects through Agile methodologies operating in a Scrum Master role when necessary to decompose highlevel project requirements into actionable Features Epics and Stories for delivery by the project team.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Extensive experience leading solution delivery teams in a matrixed environment with aggressive delivery goals inclusive of strong scope schedule budget vendor risk/issue and project planning and management. Proven facilitation and problem management
- Experience using Azure DevOps JIRA or other Agile tools strongly desired.
- Strong grasp or quick learner of webbased mobile and mobile responsive application software development technologies
- Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager with strong focus and prioritization of enduser needs user experience and business delivery value.
- Ability to communicate to and create clear presentations for executives and business stakeholders.
- PMP Agile or Scrum or Product Management certification(s) (i.e. PMI ACP Scrum Alliance SCP) strongly desired.
