Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Critical Care

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location:Waukesha WI

Service Setting: Hospital

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Coverage Period: March 6 months (URGENT start)

Clinical Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults

Patient Volume: 12 15 per shift

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: EPIC

Staffing Model:

MDs: 2 MDs per day

NPPAs: 2 NPPAs per day

BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

General critical care procedures (Open ICU)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Certifications Required: AGACNP or NCCPA Certification ACLS

License: Active Wisconsin License

Active Wisconsin DEA

5year malpractice history

Vaccination records (COVID Hepatitis B Rubella Flu)

TB Test: Two skin tests within the past 12 months or Quantiferon blood test within 90 days of start

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive critical care within the hospital s team structure

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Participate in required orientation and EMR training
