Supervise and evaluating and making known to the medical staff, social factors relating to illness, hospitalization, diagnosis and recommended treatment of patients, carrying full responsibility for social work aspects of integrated treatment programs and furnishing continuing social work services to patients and their families while they are learning to live with illness or disability. Will handle a cross section of cases dealt with by the Service which are actively supervised when they involve performance of difficult services in complicated cases.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures through his actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the Riyadh Care Hospitals and Clinics.
Manage a team of social workers to ensure that all Interviews with people to in order to establish and assess the nature and extend of their problems (nature, cause, components, and impact) and to learn enough about the person to understand the present and potential consequences to him/her.
Develop and supervise plans that outline the content and direction of services required. Review all file materials on each case.Prepares confidential records and assures these are not accessible to others unless authorized.
Provides leadership and facilitate assistant and services for concerned individuals, referring them to other Medical or community resources and other organizations as indicated, and assisting them to understand and modify their own patterns of behavior when appropriate.
Consults with and/or informs concerned medical staff regarding social factors and other aspects to assure integrated treatment programs.
Ensure confidentiality on all casework study, diagnosis and treatment.
Keeps current with new techniques, knowledge of Medical Services, external agency and community resources.
Participates in the development of overall social service program planning and in the development and maintenance of public understanding and good working relationships.
Ensure high performance regarding all other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.
Performs additional tasks and duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications:
A minimum of:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in social services.
Experience:
Five (5) years professional social work experience preferable in largescale hospital.
Competencies & skills
Exhibits professionalism and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computer skills.
Excellent command of oral and written English as it is the common language of the multinational patient load.
Requires broad knowledge of the field of social work and a full understanding of the cultural and social aspects in dealing with multinationals.
Supervision and Leadership
Overseeing Social Workers: Supervising a team of social workers and other support staff, providing direction and guidance to ensure they meet client needs and follow proper protocols.
Mentoring and Coaching: Offering support and mentorship to less experienced social workers, helping them develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence in their roles.
Conducting Supervision Sessions: Holding regular supervision meetings with team members to discuss cases, offer feedback, and provide emotional and professional support.
Setting Goals and Expectations: Establishing clear goals, performance expectations, and standards of practice for the team, ensuring that staff understand their roles and responsibilities.
Case Management and Review
Overseeing Casework: Monitoring social work case management to ensure that clients receive appropriate services and interventions. This may involve reviewing case files, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that social workers are following best practices and adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards when working with clients.
Complex Case Handling: Assisting with or taking on cases that are particularly complex or require higher-level expertise and intervention.
Case Review and Decision Making: Reviewing ongoing cases and providing input or recommendations regarding case direction, interventions, or outcomes.
