We are looking for a Senior Consolidation & IFRS Expert Big 4 Background!
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Consolidation & IFRS Expert Big 4 Backgroundwith solid experience in financial consolidation in Portugal. This role is ideal for professionals who have worked in parent companies or Portugueseholding structures ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the financial consolidation process ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This includes preparing statutory consolidated financial statements aligning with IFRS compliance standards and supporting key business decisions through reliable financial data.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the execution of all necessary procedures for the groups financial consolidation process in compliance with IFRS and Portuguese accounting standards.
- Prepare statutory consolidated financial statements ensuring accuracy consistency and highquality reporting.
- Ensure alignment with IFRS compliance standards corporate governance requirements and internal control procedures.
- Work closely with auditors finance teams and senior management to ensure effective financial consolidation and reporting.
- Drive process improvements to optimize efficiency in financial consolidation and reporting.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in financial consolidation in Portugal (mandatory).
- Previous experience in a Big 4 auditing firm (mandatory).
- Professional background in holding companies or parent structures in Portugal with direct involvement in the consolidation process.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS financial compliance and corporate reporting regulations.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing or similar sectors is highly valued.
- Familiarity with ERP systems preferably SAPFinancial Consolidation.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
