Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Summary:
The Civil Engineer is responsible for designing and overseeing construction and maintenance projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and according to safety standards and regulations. They play a key role in infrastructure development addressing challenges related to the environment structure and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Planning:
Develop detailed designs for infrastructure projects including roads bridges drainage systems buildings and other civil structures.
Use CAD (ComputerAided Design) software to create precise drawings plans and layouts for construction projects.
Perform structural analysis to ensure the stability strength and safety of designs.
Collaborate with architects urban planners and other engineers to integrate the design with other project requirements.
Project Management:
Oversee and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects from conception through construction.
Create project timelines allocate resources and manage budgets to ensure successful project completion.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed.
Site Supervision & Inspection:
Conduct site visits to inspect ongoing work ensuring compliance with design specifications building codes and safety standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams.
