Job Description
Job Location: Lansing MI (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
- The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and how the IT components interact via network communications. (Firewall VIP F5 Listener Port etc.)
- Possess a basic understanding of IT infrastructure components including networks servers storage web and virtual/cloud environments.
- This position provides oversight leadership accountability and project management functions for one or more largesize complex projects.
- These projects typically utilize vendor participation and require complex schedules and integration with other systems.
- Largesized projects typically have durations longer than 6 months with 20 or more team members require communication at the Agency Leadership level and have a medium to high risk.
Requirement:
- 5 Years of Project Management experience
- Strong leadership skills and a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and how the IT components interact via network communications (Firewall VIP F5 Listener Port etc.)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desired.
