Job Description
Job Title: Drafter (Store Fixtures)
Location: Baltimore MD (Hybrid)
Job Type: Fulltime
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a talented and detailoriented Drafter to join our team. This is a fulltime hybrid position with the opportunity for remote work. The Drafter will play a crucial role in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for store fixtures. This position offers the chance to work on exciting custom projects and largescale production rollouts for top retailers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create precise and accurate technical drawings for store fixtures using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Develop manufacturing plans and shop drawings for custom fixtures and retail designs.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to interpret and implement design specifications.
- Ensure compliance with construction techniques and material requirements for all designs.
- Communicate effectively with team members contractors and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of construction documents and any necessary updates throughout the project lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
- Solid understanding of construction techniques and materials.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal to collaborate with various teams.
- Experience in store fixture or retail design is a plus.
- Associates or bachelors degree in Drafting Engineering or a related field.
