Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Cad Drafter with a background in home design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various drafting software and possess a strong understanding of design principles related to the home building process. This role involves creating detailed technical drawings and plans that are essential for the development of projects across multiple disciplines including mechanical civil and architectural design. Must be well versed in Chief Architect and able to produce detailed elevations and 3D renderings.
Duties
- Develop and prepare detailed home designs with detailed specifications using software such as Chief Architect AutoCAD Revit and Sketchup.
- Collaborate with our PMs and Engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drafts.
- Create 3D models and visualizations to support project presentations.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from PMs and engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts revisions and related documents for easy access by team members.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation including reports and presentations.
Experience
- Proficiency in drafting software such as Chief Architect AutoCAD Revit Sketchup SolidWorks Civil 3D MicroStation and NavisWorks is required.
- Experience in mechanical design or civil engineering projects is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and updates to team members and clients.
- A background in architecture or engineering is advantageous but not essential for all candidates.
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: $30.00 $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
