Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) coordinator to join our team. The primary role of this position is to ensure that our work environment meets all necessary safety and environmental standards. This includes conducting risk assessments advising on safety compliance and preventative measures and creating and implementing safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Implement health and safety programs in accordance with state central regulations and company standards.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and noncompliance issues.
- Create reports on health and safety incidents violations and recommended improvements.
- Conduct training sessions on health and safety practices.
- Work with various departments to promote culture of safety within the organization.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
- Monitor waste management procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
