Job Description: MYP Integrated Sciences Teacher

We are currently seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our esteemed faculty.

Position: MYP Integrated Sciences Teacher (Biology Chemistry and Physics) for grades 6th8th

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Delivery:
   

   • Teach MYP Integrated Sciences covering Biology Chemistry and Physics.
     
   • Develop engaging lesson plans and inquirybased activities aligned with the IB framework.
     
   • Foster interdisciplinary connections within the sciences and across other subject areas.
     

2. Student Development:
   

   • Inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence and cultivate scientific curiosity.
     
   • Support students in developing critical thinking research skills and a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
     

3. Assessment and Feedback:
   

   • Design administer and evaluate formative and summative assessments in alignment with IB standards.
     
   • Provide constructive feedback to guide student growth and achievement.
     

4. Professional Collaboration:
   

   • Participate actively in faculty meetings professional development sessions and collaborative planning.
     
   • Contribute to the school s culture of continuous learning and improvement.
     

5. School Activities:
   

   • Engage in cocurricular and extracurricular activities as part of the school s holistic education approach.
     

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Educational Background:
  • A Bachelor s or Master s degree in a relevant field (Biology Chemistry Physics or Science Education).
    
• Certifications:
  • IBcertified with a specialisation in MYP Sciences.
    
• Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching MYP Integrated Sciences or equivalent curricula.
    
  • Familiarity with IGCSE and ICSE curricula is an added advantage.
    
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching practices.
    
  • Strong communication classroom management and organizational skills.
