Job Description
We are seeking a professional and decisive Night Duty Manager to join our team at Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations during night shifts ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service and safety.
- Manage and supervise all night shift staff including front desk housekeeping and security personnel
- Be the point of contact for any emergency incidents and act as the overall in charge in the absence of senior leadership during the night shift in the resort.
- Ensure smooth checkins checkouts and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain hotel security safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Handle and resolve guest complaints and escalated issues professionally and effectively
- Oversee night audit processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to maintain quality standards
- Manage inventory and supplies for night shift operations
- Train and mentor night shift staff to improve performance and maintain service standards
- Prepare detailed shift reports and communicate important information to day shift management
Qualifications :
- Proven experience of 35 years in hotel management or related field with a focus on night shift operations
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff effectively
- Advanced problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities especially in highpressure situations
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
- Exceptional time management and multitasking capabilities
- Indepth knowledge of hotel operations procedures and industry best practices
- Thorough understanding of safety and security protocols in a hotel environment
- Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements in the hospitality industry
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Flexibility to work night shifts weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
