Job Description

Overview

SDE (Supplier Development Engineering) team is making the cars of the future a reality. We handle all production processes and supplier development strategies: from contracts and purchasing to designs for improved manufacturing through quality control and delivery. We collaborate actively with engineering teams as well as external suppliers and partners to make sure everything is built with highest quality and delivered on time to meet the rising demands of our business.

Location: Chonburi Thailand.

Main Responsibilities

  • Jointly work European or German car manufacturers to ensure the quality is met.
  • Qualify new metrology equipment and complete measurement system analysis to ensure optimal performance and capability.
  • Be able to conduct the correlationship study between up and downstream suppliers.
  • Work on and execute the quality control plan for certain components.
  • Manage and resolve material quality issues identify root cause and implement effective and sustainable countermeasures.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant work experience in metrology quality assurance and/ or manufacturing.
  • Good English skills as we must communicate in our team in English very precisely and seamlessly.
  • Experience with European or German car manufacturers and expectation regarding quality processes audits and evidence / documentation.
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical drawings GD&T GRR etc.
  • Handson experience performing inspection with mechanical hand tools (e.g. calipers micrometers height gauge dial indicators).
  • Capable of analyzing dimensional data using statistical tools and software (e.g. JMP Minitab).
  • Experience in designing fixtures and gauges for mechanical manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering is a plus.
