Job Description
Job Title: Power BI Expert
Experience: 5 years (Power BI and analytics)
Location: Pune
Contract Duration: (6 months full time convertible based on performance)
Work Mode: Hybrid Model

Key Responsibilities:
Data Modeling:
Design and develop optimized data models for efficient querying and analysis.
Create relationships and hierarchies within datasets to support business
requirements.
Perform data transformation using Power Query and DAX.
Analytics & Reporting:
Analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
Develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Write and optimize DAX formulas for calculations and aggregations.
Deployment & Maintenance:
Publish and manage dashboards in Power BI Service.
Implement rowlevel security and user access controls.
Schedule and monitor data refreshes and performance.
Collaboration:
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with
business objectives.
Collaborate with IT and data teams to integrate data sources and maintain data
pipelines.
Provide enduser training and support for Power BI solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
Recommend and implement enhancements to improve reporting and analytics
capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
Proven experience in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and database design.
Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language).
Familiarity with connecting Power BI to various data sources (Postgres Excel
APIs etc.).
Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze interpret and visualize data to address business needs.
Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities.
Experience in deploying Power BI solutions in enterprise environments is a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Postgres is a must
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Power BI Certification is a plus.
Experience in embedding Power BI dashboards into applications.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
