Job Description
Job Title: Power BI Developer
What Youll Do:
- Design develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable business insights.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
- Clean transform and model data using Power Query ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Write and optimize DAX formulas to create calculated measures and aggregations.
- Establish and manage data connections with various sources including databases cloud services and onpremises data.
- Optimize Power BI reports for performance efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Ensure data security and proper access control within Power BI Service.
- Stay updated on new Power BI features and best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.
What Youll Bring:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Power BI development.
- Strong skills in Power BI Desktop Power BI Service and report publishing.
- Expertise in data modeling relationships and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in DAX for creating calculated fields and measures.
- Handson experience with Power Query for data transformation.
- Understanding of data governance security and rolebased access in Power BI.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging BI technologies and methodologies.
