Your Mission:
As an NSSS Piping Installation Supervisor you will play a key role in ensuring the successful installation of NSSS piping systems at Hinkley Point C. Youll be responsible for overseeing site activities ensuring health and safety compliance maintaining quality standards and coordinating with contractors to drive progress.
Ensure NSSS piping installation activities meet quality safety and technical requirements.
Supervise onsite piping activities enforcing safety standards in line with CDM regulations.
Coordinate with contractors and other teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor progress address site issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
Implement the supervision programme for piping activities ensuring compliance with requirements.
Lead safety inspections and enforce installation standards to maintain a highquality work environment.
Validate completed installations through inspections and documentation checks.
Report progress and challenges to project managers ensuring alignment with project goals.
Qualifications :
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
Meticulous approach to site supervision with a focus on safety and quality.
Ability to manage and resolve onsite issues efficiently.
Experience implementing permittowork systems and enforcing CDM regulations.
Knowledge of nuclear piping systems and largescale infrastructure projects.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering Welding or a related field.
Understanding of Pressurised Water Reactor (PWR) design and construction.
Familiarity with NNB processes and interfaces within nuclear projects.
Experience with site coordination and issue resolution.
Knowledge of NonConformance Reports (NCR) Field Change Requests (FCR) and Request for Information (RFI) processes.
