Job Description
As a Network Data Analyst you will analyze large Speedtestrelated datasets organizing and compiling network data to generate valuable insights for internal teams and external clients. Collaborating with Sales Directors and Technical Account Managers you will showcase how Ookla s data solves realworld challenges requiring strong analytical technical and communication skills in a dynamic environment.
Shift: Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM
Work setup: Work From Home/Remote
- Partner with the sales team to perform data analysis visualization segmentation and predictive modeling.
- Develop reporting tools and datadriven insights to maximize business opportunities.
- Support adhoc data analysis requests from the Sales and Account Management team.
- Define and implement standardized reports and dashboards to address frequent client inquiries.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to enhance data integrity and reporting.
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write and optimize queries.
- Expertise in R or Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong understanding of mobile networks including optimization and testing for mobile operators.
- Experience working with clientfacing teams (preferred).
- Ability to work autonomously in a fastpaced ambiguous environment.
- Selfmotivated with a proven track record of urgency and followthrough.
(Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in data storytelling to present insights in a business context.
- Prior experience in the telecom industry or with network performance analysis.
- Familiarity with big data processing tools.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data extraction.
- Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics and modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI or internal custom tools).
- Knowledge of big data technologies based on the companys data infrastructure.
